Tate Exchange 2019

A collaborative E-Textiles workshop with the public for the Tate Exchange at the Tate Modern in London on 5-11 March. Held on International Women’s Day, our aim was to get more women involved with technology. The LEDs light up with certain hand gestures are made to complete the circuit. These hand gestures communicate using a common language which people can understand without necessarily speaking the same language. I led this workshop alongside Digital Artist Aesun Kim who I met through the Digital Maker Collective and Beta Society which we are both a part of, and we are continuing to work together on E-Textile projects.
